PAWS of Franklin County recently purchased the former Mt. Vernon Veterinary Clinic with the intention of remodeling and refurbishing it into Franklin County’s first humane society and adoption center. There is a lot to be done before we can open our doors to pets in need, but we’re making tremendous progress. Electrical repairs and construction clean out have been completed. Roofing repairs have begun, and plumbing is scheduled to start soon. We’ve received significant support from our community, including the Franklin County Board of Supervisors, the Precinct Chair, and the Sheriff, as well as local businesses and residents.
However, to achieve the next step of our historical journey, finish the repairs, purchase the equipment needed, hire and train a team of dedicated staff and volunteers we need your help.
Please consider making a legacy gift that will provide the funding necessary to open this crucial resource. Your investment will let people know that your business or family cares about and believes our “faithful friends” deserve to have resources in our community!
